Daniel is a Research Economist in the Bank of England’s International Directorate. He joined the Bank in 2023 after completing his PhD in Economics at the University of Cambridge. During his PhD, he was a Dissertation Fellow at the Federal Reserve Board. Daniel’s research sits at the intersection of international finance and monetary economics. His work focuses on the relationship between capital flows and exchange rates, the structure of currency markets and the global financial system, and the transmission of monetary policy to asset prices and the macroeconomy.
