U.S. Stock Market Update
The U.S. stock markets are set to open in two hours, and there are some notable movements in pre-market trading. Rivian Automotive Inc. Cl A (RIVN) is up 3.7%, while International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) is up 3.5%.
Gains and Losses
Yum China Holdings Inc. (YUMC), AAON Inc. (AAON), and Emerson Electric Co. (EMR) are all posting gains of at least 3%. On the other hand, Levi Strauss & Co. Cl A (LEVI) and Regions Financial Corp. (RF) have experienced declines, falling 7.4% and 4.5% respectively.
Market Futures
The S&P 500 futures are down 0.07%, while the futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average have fallen 0.02%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures, however, are up 6.28%.
Commodities News
In commodities news, Brent crude oil futures have risen by 0.37%, and gold futures are up by 0.39%. Bitcoin, on the other hand, has experienced a decline of 0.48%, currently sitting at $30,164.

The 10-Year Treasury yield has climbed to 4.060%.
Previous Trading Session
In the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 and the Dow experienced declines of 0.79% and 1.07% respectively. Asian stocks were also down overnight, with Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index falling by 1.17%, and China’s Shanghai Composite Index dropping by 0.28%.
European Market Performance
In afternoon trading, stocks in Europe are showing a mixed performance. The STOXX Europe 600 Index has risen by 0.16%, while the FTSE 100 Index has fallen by 0.22% from the previous close.
